This clinical case describes an anterior aesthetic rehabilitation using direct composite resin, specifically the Filtek Easy Match (Solventum) system. The patient presented with aesthetic concerns related to the shape and color of the upper anterior teeth.
Clinical examination revealed agenesis of the lateral incisors, with the canines occupying their positions. A previous morphological modification had already been performed; however, the current objective was to enhance the overall anterior aesthetics from lateral to lateral.
The proposed approach involved morphological and chromatic remodeling using direct composite resin techniques to achieve a natural, harmonious, and minimally invasive result—combining predictable function with excellent aesthetic integration.

Shade selection. In this case, the selected shade was Filtek Easy Match Bright.

Fig.3
After removing the old composite, the underlying dental substrate was exposed, providing a clean surface for adhesive procedures.

Fig.4
Rubber dam isolation was applied to ensure moisture control and optimal adhesion throughout the composite application process.

Fig.5
The restoration procedure began with the two central incisors, where Polydentia Unica Proximal matrices were positioned to recontour the distal surfaces precisely.

Fig.6
Both central incisors were etched with phosphoric acid.

Fig.7
After etching, rinsing, and drying, Scotchbond Universal Plus adhesive was applied and light-cured. After polymerization, two small increments of Filtek Supreme Flow were added on the lateral areas to establish new distal contours and stabilize the matrices.

Fig.8
With the Unica Proximal matrices stabilized, Filtek Easy Match composite resin was layered to rebuild the distal walls and contour.

Fig.9
The buccal surfaces were then covered using the Filtek Easy Match composite, creating two new composite veneers, which were then adjusted to obtain the desired shape and volume of the teeth.

Fig.10
Once the shape and volume of the central incisors was refined, attention shifted to the lateral regions, where the canines were morphologically converted into lateral incisors. The same adhesive and layering protocol was applied to ensure color and texture uniformity.

Fig.11
The restorations of the lateral incisors were completed using Filtek Easy Match composite, modifying the shape, contour, and volume to achieve the desired aesthetic outcome.

Conclusions
This case illustrates the potential of Filtek Easy Match composite resin for anterior aesthetic rehabilitation. Intuitive and accurate shade selection, adaptive opacity, and natural finishing and polishing resulted in a highly aesthetic and functional outcome. The predictability of this material, combined with its handling properties and excellent integration with the natural tooth structure, makes it an effective solution for conservative and aesthetic treatments.
