Spectacular smile makeovers are no longer reserved for “composite masters” thanks to the new composite materials. With the right technique and material selection, clinicians can use an easy tool to create a new smile for their patients. In this scenario, a smile makeover was completed in a single visit using StyleItaliano tools and the new 3M Filtek Universal composite.

Fig.2
Teeth were generally healthy – that’s why direct composite approach was used to restore aesthetics with a minimal invasive concept. To start, rubber dam isolation was completed for a good visualization of the field of work.

Fig.3
New length and incisal edges were transferred from wax-up via silicon index using the Filtek Universal (3M) in a single shade. This way we have copied the symmetry and the guidance from wax-up model.

Fig.4
With incisal edges in position, Polydentia Unica matrices were used to place the composite buccally. Thus, a proper margin seal and a smooth composite on margins were clearly seen in this image.

Thanks to the natural opalescence of the 3M Filtek universal, even single shade restorations are looking live-like and are way to achieve simple but spectacular aesthetic effect for the patient.

Conclusions
Single shade composite veneering with the use of new universal composites provided a simple way to create aesthetic effect. Even full smile makeover with single shade universal composite can create spectacular metamorphosis for the patient in the daily clinical practice.
