Eugenio Longo was born in Galatina (Lecce), Italy, on April 27, 1984. He graduated with honors in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Siena in 2009, presenting an experimental clinical thesis on implant placement in the aesthetic areas of the mouth.
Since the beginning of his career, he has focused on periodontology, implantology, regenerative surgery, and oral surgery. He completed advanced training in implant and reconstructive surgery in Brazil and served as Resident in the Department of Periodontology and Implantology at Santa Maria alle Scotte University Hospital in Siena (2009–2012).
Since 2014, he has been a tutor and lecturer in implant and mucogingival surgery at UNINOVE University in São Paulo, Brazil. He is also Adjunct Professor at the University of Genoa and has lectured in postgraduate Master's programs at the Universities of Genoa, Florence, Brescia, and Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli."
Dr. Longo is the recipient of several national and international awards, including the Biomet 3i Scholarship Award (2011) and Best Clinical Case Awards from Amici di Brugg (2017) and the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (2018).
He currently practices in Lecce, Italy, with a clinical focus on periodontology, implantology, and oral surgery. He is an Active Member of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO) and the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (IAED), and is a frequent national and international speaker on implantology and periodontology.
